Ross M. Wilkins, MD

thumb_wilkins_nov07Dr. Ross Wilkins is the founder and co-medical director of The Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk. He completed his fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been the energy behind development of the intra-arterial chemotherapy protocol, and is recognized internationally as an expert of bone and soft tumors.

 

 
Cynthia M. Kelly, MD
thumb_kelly_nov07Dr. Cynthia Kelly is a member of the Denver Clinic since 1995. She specializes in soft tissue and bone tumors in all age groups. She completed her fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at UCLA. She is a member at the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society and participates in clinical research in the areas of bone and soft tissue tumors.
 
Ronald R. Hugate, MD
thumb_R.Hugate_2011.pDr. Ronald Hugate joined The Denver Clinc in 2005.  He completed his fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has clinical expertise in managment of pelvic tumors, and specializes in bone and soft tissue tumors of the extremity. Ioana M. Hinshaw MD

Antonio. She specializes in chemotherapeutic management of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. 

 
Jennifer J. Clark MD
thumb_clark_nov07Dr. Jennifer Clark is a pediatric hematologist oncologist. She completed her fellowship in hematology-oncology at Boston Children Hospital and Dana-Faber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.  She specializes in the chemotherapeutic management of bone and soft tissue tumors in children.
 
Julie D. Zimbelman MD
thumb_zimbelman_nov07Dr. Julie Zimbelman is a pediatric hematologist oncologist. She completed her pediatric hematology oncology and bone marrow transplant fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Dr. Zimbelman has been involved with the development of the intra-arterial chemotherapy protocol.
 
William C. Brown, MD

thumb_brown_nov07Dr. William Brown is co-medical director of The Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk and a plastic surgeon with the extremity tumor program.  He completed his fellowship training at Duke University. His expertise in reconstructive surgery following tumor resection is imperative in providing limb preserving options for patients with extremity tumors. 

 
David P. Schnur, MD

thumb_schnur_nov07Dr. David Schnur is a plastic surgeon with the extremity tumor program.  He completed his fellowship training in plastic surgery at the University of Pennslyvania.  He provides expertise in reconstructive surgery following tumor resection which allows for a broader number of options for reconstruction following resection of extremity tumors.

 
Conrad J. Tirre, MD

tirre_nov07Dr. Conrad Tirre is a plastic surgeon with the extremity tumor program.  He completed his fellowship in plastic surgery at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.  Because of the expertise he provides in reconstructive surgery following resection of extremity tumors, the extremity tumor program can offer limb-sparing reconstructive options.

 
Walter E. Madsen MD

Dr. Walt Madsen is board certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology and he specializes in Surgical Pathology and Immunohistochemistry. He did his fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Washington University in St. Louis, Barnes Hospital. Dr. Madsen is Vice Chairman of the department of Pathology, and the director of Anatomic Pathology at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center.
